This course totally helped me build resilience and even ease during COVID-19. The authors, who have gone through challenges themselves (bringing authenticity to it), have created step-by-step practices based on science to promote change, growth and a life of more contentment following adversity. You begin with surviving change – and whatever you are going through, it will help!

I have been raving to my friends about this course! I got so much more out of it than I would have with just the journal. With the journal, I would have admired how pretty it was and looked at all the quotes, but I would have been "afraid" to write in it because it is so beautiful! I really looked forward to the routine each day and feel like it has helped me bring more joy and inner calm into my life.

I’m not someone who journals often, but I found myself looking forward to doing it each morning, and I’ve missed it since finishing the course. I loved all the practical exercises that helped me reflect on things in my life in different ways. I think there are a lot of exercises that I could take away and use again. I also loved the meditations. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to look a little deeper at personal issues. It’s really a lovely step by step guide that doesn’t throw you in too quickly. I think I got way more out of the Take Two journal by doing the course than if I had tried to do it on my own.

First of all I LOVE the book/journal. It is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever seen. I love the photos, I love the writing and the fonts. I love that the journaling pages are dotted instead of lined. I love everything about it. It may sound silly but it seriously motivates me to do the work. I’m a visual person and I think that the beauty of the book really helps. The prompts are all really good as well. I’m not good at journaling but they definitely help me get started. I also feel a lot of anxiety when I look at the blank page. However, once I start writing it turns into something bigger and clarifies my thoughts. The beginning meditations (that I’m also not usually good at!) help me settle in so that it’s easier to focus on the prompts and my thoughts — to go inside. I am so appreciative of the structure of the course with all of its questions and quotations and wise writings. I honestly feel that the beauty is overwhelming — in a good way. I’m always trying to do this work but this is the first course I’ve taken that has actually motivated me to WANT to do it every day. And I’m beginning to feel like I’m making some progress. Thank you!
